Grading for the exercises:
In total, 24 (regular) points can be achieved as follows:
- Exams (12 points):
- 12 points from final exam
- Participation (12 points + 3 extra points):
- 6 points based on quantity and quality of blackboard presentations.
- i<=6 points for marking more that (50+5i)% of the exercises.
- i<=3 extra points for marking more that (80+5i)% of the exercises.
Necessary conditions for a positive grading:
- In total (excl. extra points) more that 12 points.
- At least 6 points from the exam.
- At least 50% of the exercises marked.
Attendance:
- No compulsory attendance at the exercises.
- If you want to get points for marking exercises without attending, there must be a good reason for not attending and please contact me in time (if possible) such that the marked exercises can be discussed in my office.
