This data distribution generates a set of nodes belonging to a non-empty intersection of subdomains : $ x_{C_{i,j}}\in  \overline{\Omega} \makebox[0pt]{}_{h,i} \cap \overline{\Omega} \makebox[0pt]{}_{h,j}\enspace$. This distribution may have advantages if upwind techniques are used in FEM.
