  • Workshop Location: The workshop takes place at the Castle St. Martin. Castle St. Martin is a church-owned conference center located on a beautiful hill on the edge of Graz. Although surrounded by green hills, orchards and gardens, the conference center is only 25 Minutes from the center of Graz by public transportation.

  • Presentation Equipment: Slide projectors, a dia-projector, television and video recorder, and a video-beamer are avaliable for presentations. A laptop computer with the following technical specifications is also provided:
    • Microsoft Windows 95 or LINUX operating system
    • Microsoft Office (including MS-Powerpoint)
    • MATLAB 5.3

    • Here you can find a close up map of the streets connecting the autobahn exit and with information about the short walk from Castle St Martin to the bus stop for the #31 bus which takes you to the center of the old city and which runs till midnight. The bus stop for Castle St. Martin is Ankerstraße. Walk along Ankerstraße to the Fußweg (footwalk) and uphill to the castle.

  • Travel Hints: Here is a link to travel hints and directions to reach the workshop. The main travel focal points in Graz are Hauptplatz (center of the old city) and nearby Jakominiplatz where all street car and all bus lines converge.
