- Travel to Graz

the city center Jakominiplatz . Street car lines are
red and bus lines are blue. Note that the 31 bus can
be taken at Jakominiplatz which travels to the Castle bus stop at
Ankerstraße .

- Arriving by train
- Arriving in Vienna at the Wien Südbahnhof take train
to Graz Hauptbahnhof. Information on train schedules are
linked above.
- Arriving at the Graz Hauptbahnhof you can take a cab
at about 20 Euro or by street car and bus at about 2 Euro.
- Street cars run very often. From the Hauptbanhof take street cars #3 or #6
(from 19:44 in the evening use street car #1 or #7) to
Jakominiplatz and from Jakominiplatz take Bus #31
in direction Webling . Exit at Ankerstraße.
After leaving the bus follow this map with
information about the short walk from the bus stop to Castle St Martin. The map illustrates
the walk on Ankerstraße to the Fußweg (footwalk) and then uphill to the castle.
- Arriving by car
- When arriving in Graz use the highway Knoten Graz-West
and take the exit Straßgang .
- follow this map.
- Arriving by plane
- Arriving in Vienna at Wien Schwechat
airport there are buses every 30 minutes ( at 25 and 55 minutes of the hour for
about 5 Euro) directly to the main train station Wien Südbahnhof .
You can also walk (5 minutes) to the city train Schnellbahn S7 and take this
(every hour) in direction (richtung) "Südbahnhof " for about 1.5 Euro. In either case
from the Südbahnhof take train to Graz.
- Arriving in Graz at the Graz Airport Thalerhof
you can travel to St. Martin by cab (around 15 Euro) or you could take special
buses to the main Graz train station Hauptbahnhof .
- From the Graz Hauptbahnhof follow travel directions to St. Martin given above in
Arriving by train.
- Street car information
- All street cars go to Jakominiplatz and in general run
very regularly from about 6 a.m till midnight and costs 1.45 Euro.
- In traveling by street car from the Hauptbahnhof, you need only
find the direction which is toward Jakominiplatz. At Jakominiplatz transfer to bus #31 in direction Webling.
- Bus information connecting city center to Castle St. Martin
- Travel by bus #31 to St. Martin from
Jakominiplatz (near the center of the old city) in
the direction toward Webling. You should exit at station
(haltestelle) Ankerstraße . If you see Harterstraße
you missed your stop but the bus is near the end of the line and will
start a return trip back at Webling.
- After leaving the bus follow this map with information about
the short walk from the bus stop to Castle St Martin. The map illustrates
