About me

I work as a tenure-track professor at the University of Graz.

Before coming to Graz, I was part of the Algebra group in Freiburg
with a research project supported by the DFG,
an EPSRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh,
a research assistant of Henning Krause in Bielefeld and a PhD student of Igor Burban in Bonn.

Research interests

General: representation theory, commutative algebra, algebraic geometry, homological algebra.

Specific: algebraic and homological invariants of singular varieties:

  • Relative singularity categories and Buchweitz-Orlov singularity categories.
  • Derived categories of singular varieties.
  • Related structures and techniques like: semiorthogonal decompositions, noncommutative
& categorical resolutions of singularities, cluster theory, quasi-hereditary algebras…
