I am working in algebra and number theory, with a particular interest in studying non-unique factorizations of elements in noncommutative rings.

Since October 2019, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Graz (Austria) funded by the return-phase of my FWF Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship. Before that, using the same grant, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo (Canada), from February 2018 through September 2019, and at Dartmouth College (USA) from October 2017 through January 2018.

I obtained my PhD in May 2014 under the supervision of Alfred Geroldinger within the doctoral program DK Discrete Mathematics at the University of Graz in Austria.
