Michael Kniely

As of September 2025, I am employed as a postdoc in the high performance computing group of Prof. Gundolf Haase at the University of Graz, where I focus on the AI-based optimization of district heating networks.
Prior to that, I was working as a senior postdoc in the applied analysis group of Prof. Klemens Fellner at the University of Graz. This position was funded by an Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship of the Austrian Science Fund FWF from March 2024 to August 2025.
