How to install [4/2016]:

• Follow the instructions from journal c*t 9/2014, p.84ff (better buy the full issue for 4,70 EUR)  [in German].
  
• I suggest for beginners to try Linux in a virtual box inside Windows:
• Download and install VMware
  (mark the box "Enhanced Keyboard Driver" in the installation process and reboot windows afterwards).
• Download Ubuntu 15.10 (or 16.04) and install it as guest system in the virtual box
  (install the package manager synaptic:   sudo apt-get install synaptic  )
• It takes 1h including all the updates.
• See c't 10/16, p.XX for Ubuntu 16.04.
• Alternatively you can create a bootable USB-stick:
• Follow c*t 9/2014, p.87 by using Universal USB Installer,
• or follow those instructions.
