SFB test data platform
Here you can find a selection of benchmark problems for image reconstruction and image processing tasks from different application areas of the SFB. These can be used for validating the algorithms in your SFB publications. New data sets, particularly from still missing applications, are welcome. We are also hoping to showcase the most successful reconstruction(s) for each data set.
MRI test images
- T1 weighted GRE scan of a multiple sclerosis patient
Note: No pronounced MS lesions are visible with this contrast and in this slice

- T2 weighted TSE scan of a healthy volunteer
- RF-spoiled radial FLASH sequence without cardiac gating and during free breathing
- SE measurement of the knee of a healthy volunteer
- 3D FLASH Contrast enhanced scan of the carotid arteries
MRI raw data
- T2 weighted TSE scan of a healthy volunteer (4 channel head coil)
- T2 weighted TSE scan of a healthy volunteer (32 channel head coil)
- SE measurement of the knee of a healthy volunteer (8 channel coil)
- RF-spoiled radial FLASH sequence without cardiac gating and during free breathing
32 channel body array coil, compressed to 12 virtual channels using svd based coil compression
Note: This data set was acquired with a radial acquisition. The corresponding k-space trajectory is also included ('k', 256x125 matrix). The non-uniform FFT from Jeff Fessler's Image Reconstruction Toolbox is needed for reconstruction of this data set.
