In corporate environment people tend to be skeptical about Open Source
approaches due to many misunderstandings and misconceptions. The same
seems true for mathematics. In this talk an outline is given how
professional FEA and problem solving can be established within an existing
work-flow with the open finite element solver Code Aster and other Python
related programs, and why especially mathematicians can get the most out
of it.
